London Marathon

The London Marathon always has such a great atmosphere with many people lining the streets to show support for their loved ones running in the race, as well as for many people who they do not know.

Competing in the race are a collection of runners spanning all levels of fitness from the Elite Men and Women to the masses, including general runners and fancy dress runners.

I decided to focus primarily on the elite runners for 2015 rather than the masses as each year tends to look similar to the last.

This is Eliud Kipchoge, who won the Men’s elite race.

Close behind the race leader in second place was Wilson Kipsang.

2014 saw Britain’s most successful distance runner Mo Farah compete in his first marathon.

From the first year I went to the London Marathon, I knew I wanted to return annually. The atmosphere is seriously incredible and it’s amazing to see what people can achieve.
