This September marks 4 years since I started vlogging for my YouTube channel — woah. In that time, my vlog setup has changed dramatically, both in quality and also the physical size and weight. Last week I did my first YouTube Live session, having previously teased in recent videos since purchasing my Blackmagic UltraStudio Mini Recorder, that I would be starting a series of live “shows”. The broadcast was a simple unboxing of a collection of microphone equipment that RØDE had sent me, followed by an impromptu Q+A session. Read on to see my thoughts of how it went!
