FontBook iPad App

I saw this appear from my Twitter feed from somewhere and thought “I have an iPad. I love typography. Let’s see what this is all about” So I downloaded it and had a go. It looks to be one of the best apps a graphic designer could ask for, showing the font libraries of most of the type foundries around the world and including multiple amounts of information about the creator and other typefaces they had designed. Definitely something I will be showing my tutors at University when the semester starts again. Take a look at this video, but ignore the completely out of proportion iPad that they’ve used as a frame.
