In the middle of September my Girlfriend and I decided to make a quick trip to Paris with only a few days between booking and actually going. There’s a few things I’d like to point out with that last sentence. The first thing; it’s the end of October. That means that my lazy internet fingers haven’t been able to stimulate themselves to blog in about 6 weeks. I know it’s happened a few times before but I promise I’m going to get better. I’ve been very busy and wasn’t ready to blog until I’d edited a few photos etc. Secondly, I’ve never been to Paris before. Thirdly, I don’t like the French (Apologies for the generalisation but I’ve never had great experiences with them in their own country based on the fact that I am La Touriste.)

Carrying on, we went to Paris. We went for 3 nights and stayed at this shoddy hotel that wasn’t even worth the 2 stars it had somehow found. We had to manufacture our own double bed from the three provided (we ordered a double), there was no shower curtain and when we asked I ended up having to draw a picture of what one was only to be told “I’ll find out if there’s supposed to be one”. The rest of the room was alright and the only other downfall was the rudeness of the people working in the Tourist destinations.

If you don’t like tourists. Don’t work in a Tourist destination.

The landmarks in Paris were the best thing. The physical structures and the surroundings were great for photography. As was the weather. I may be sounding quite cynical about the whole trip but I honestly did enjoy myself. Here are some of the photos to go with it.
